| Burbank, CA, March 17, 2003 TVN Entertainment Corporation, the leading provider of on-demand content, management and delivery services, announced today the June 1, 2003 launch of Event TV, a new innovative 24 hour Pay-Per-View (PPV) network. Featured programming will include marquee events like WWE wrestling, major boxing events from HBO PPV and Showtime Event Television, King of the Cage, major concerts, sports, comedy and more.
Developed in response to major shifts by the cable industry from conventional PPV to Video-On-Demand (VOD), the service addresses the need for a live linear events channel in conjunction with the PPV tier converting to on-demand television. Like other programming services that TVN offers, the operator can individually co-brand the channel, allowing for local sponsorship and advertising flexibility not available with current PPV networks.
TVN is creating the premiere destination for Pay-Per-View events, said Michael H. Klein, Senior Vice President of Pay-Per-View and Event Programming for TVN Entertainment. Our unique platform delivers events in linear, VOD and soon High Definition VOD. Combined with our Direct Response Network, TVN Direct, that reaches over 50 million CATV subscribers, our platform will allow us to attract the highest profile events and deliver them in the most compelling formats.

Event TVs line-up will contain programming blocks based on viewer usage and event availability. Titles will be consistent by day-part and day-of-week, creating predictable tune-in programming. TVN is currently working with strategic partners including event producers, promoters and sponsors to develop and expand event categories as well as exploring new concepts in order to create event franchises.
Klein added, We are also developing several new programming concepts to fully exploit the benefits of on-demand television. This is just one of many announcements TVN will be making in the coming months as we pioneer programming for the VOD space.
In addition to Event TV, TVN Entertainment delivers new release and library titles for PPV content from Hollywoods top studios. For VOD content, TVN Entertainment currently packages and distributes more than 1200 hours of VOD programming per month, representing over 70 providers. This includes TVN licensed theatrical and library titles, childrens and Spanish language content and genre themed virtual channels as well as delivering Subscription-Video-On-Demand (SVOD) and network programming for many of the major Cable networks.
