BURBANK, CA, June 03, 2003- TVN Entertainment Corporation,
the leading provider of on demand content, management and
delivery services, today announced that it has concluded its
first broadcast network distribution agreement with ABC News.
Under the agreement TVN will distribute, encode, and provide
asset management of up to 50 hours of Video-On-Demand/Subscription
Video-On-Demand (VOD/SVOD) programming per month from ABC
News.
Programs from ABC News include Good Morning America, World
News Tonight, 20/20, Primetime Thursday, Nightline, UpClose,
This Week with George Stephanopoulos, and World News Now.
The announcement adds ABC News to a previous agreement with
ABC Cable Networks Group that covered The Disney Channel,
Toon Disney, SoapNet and ABC Family. TVN currently distributes
more than 1200 hours VOD programming from over 70 content
providers.
