Burbank, CA, January, 14, 2004 - TVN Entertainment,
a leading provider of on demand television programming, management
and delivery services, and Paramount Pictures, one of the
world's leading suppliers of filmed entertainment, today announced
a long-term non-exclusive agreement covering Video-On-Demand
and Pay-Per-View distribution.
The agreement makes new releases available to TVN, including
current hits like School of Rock and Timeline,
as well as a broad selection of quality library titles such
as An Officer and a Gentleman, the first six Star
Trek films, Chinatown and the concert film U2:
Rattle and Hum. New titles premiering on cable PPV and
VOD include Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life
and Rugrats Go Wild.
The agreement positions TVN to present a full complement
of movies in both PPV and VOD from virtually every major Hollywood
studio in addition to providing the largest selection of cable
network VOD programming available.
